Not Much New

Well... there has not really been much going on the past 2 weeks. So here are some pictures of my big tommy. That is really the only thing that has changed.

My First Shower

This is Kristin and Cara. I met them at work and we have become really good friends. They hosted my school shower, where I got several really cute things. By the way, Cara (the one on the right) is also pregnant and 7 weeks behind me.

They made me a Diaper Cake and stuffed a basket full of books, clothes, and even hot pink baby head phones to muffle the sound when she goes to watch daddy play.

They had some outfits made that she can wear to show off how much she loves of her daddy.  The hot pink one says My Daddy Rocks and the red one says DUTTON. The flowers are head bands with Dutton Buttons in the middle.

This is a handkerchief stitched to make a bonnet for her to wear. Then when she gets married, we will unstitch it so she has it as a handkerchief and her "something old." 

These are burp cloths that a teacher friend stitched by hand. There are 6 different pictures of nursery rhymes. 

I had a lot of fun, however it was a little surreal. I am really going to have a baby.

WOW! 6 Months!

I can't believe it has already been 24 weeks. The 6th month mark has flown by. Our baby girl (who is still nameless) will be here before we know it.

Indigestion Go Away!

We are told that symptoms usually go away by the 2nd trimester. Mine haven't. I know I'm lucky because I never had morning sickness, but my indigestion is awful!! For the most part the 2nd trimester has been really good, as long as I take my acid reflex medicine. Today was a different story. I had the worst indigestion I have had in a while. Nothing seemed to help. And I am suppose to have Mexican food for dinner. We'll see how it goes.

22 weeks

Well today is by 28th birthday and I am exactly 22 weeks. It has gone by so fast, but Aug. 31st still feels so far away. I know she will be here before I realize. 

Half Way Mark

This week has been pretty crazy, so I wasn't able to post anything until today. Not much new going on with the baby since my last post. 

19 weeks

20 weeks.

We are half way done with the pregnancy. It is going so fast.

Boy or Girl!?!?

So I completely forgot to take a picture last week. Hey, I am doing good to remember I even have a blog. 

This is me at 18 weeks.

We went to the Dr. on Wednesday for a sonogram. They said all the measurements were perfect. The baby's size is exactly to date. Shane and I were really excited to hear everything looks normal, since we didn't have any special tests done. Apparently, this baby is very active. During the visit, we saw the baby laying face up, face down, then face up again. They also told us that we would be having a little GIRL!!! Here are a few pictures they took.

What week is it???

So apparently I have been counting the weeks wrong. Oops. I was 1 week off on my earlier post. Hopefully I have it right this time.

This is 15 weeks. 

Shane took this one right after dinner. I'm not sure if it is the baby or the food that makes me look so big.

16 weeks. 

We went to the Dr. and Shane was able to hear the heart beat for the first time!

We will find out the sex of the baby March 30th!!! We can't wait.
