I know, I know...

So it has been quite some time since my last post. Sorry.

Aubrey is now 7 and 1/2 months. She is sitting, crawling, and pulling up on the furniture. Kinsley is potty training!! All this started over Thanksgiving break.

Here are a few pictures from the past 2 months.

We painted pumpkins instead of carving them. She loved it!

For Halloween Kinsley was a bee and Aubrey was a flower.

2 years old & 5 months old

Goodness. The past two months have been crazy. Kinsley turned 2. Her two your party went well. We went to the splash park here in town. I tried making the cake with help from my sister. It turned out really cute however the ears were too heavy... you'll see. Here's a few pictures.

The Minnie Mouse cake

Aubrey enjoyed being held the entire time.

Aubrey is now five months old. She is rolling over from tummy to back. She tries to crawl but as of today she is just pulling with her arms and pushing with her toes. It gets her where she want to go, it just takes her some time. She's reaching & pulling on things, mainly my hair. We have started solid foods, so far she's not a fan.

3 months

Well... Aubrey is 3 months old. She is already half the size of Kinsley. She is going to be my big baby. She weighs 13 lb and 3 oz while Kinsley actually lost weight. Kinsley was at 23.5 lb but now weighs 23 lb. It is crazy how fast they both are growing.

3 months

She is holding her head so well. She also loves to stand.

This is a picture of Aubrey and her cousin Seth. (PJ & Katie's newest addition) He is about 3 weeks older than her. They are in town from North Carolina for the summer!!

We went to my family reunion (on my dad's side) over the holiday weekend. Aubrey was happy because she was always being held instead of laying on her mat or sitting in her bouncer. Kinsley enjoyed being in the water as long as it was waist deep. Notice the arm floaties and the floaty seat, double protection... all her idea. We were in the pool for about an hour and a half that day. The last 30 min. or so she would swim attached to my hip with the arm floaties. She's not quite comfortable with being in "deep" water. Maybe next summer...

After reunion it was pretty crazy at our house. Both girls got their first ear infections, Shane was on the verge of bronchitis, and our AC went out. We stayed at my in-laws for 5 days until it was fixed. Then, when we got home I started to get it. At least we are now home and all on meds!

I can't believe it, but Kinsley turns 2 in a few weeks! I'll put up more pictures then.

2 months

So here we are at 2 months. She weighs 11 lbs. 5 oz. and is 22 inches long. My favorite part about her turning 2 months is that she is now starting to sleep 6 to 9 hours at night!!!

We went to a splash park the other day with Leighanne and her boys. Kinsley had a lot of fun. We tried this outfit at the splash park. It is sized at 18 months, however she's so skinny that the shorts kept falling off of her. So we just took them off.

It's funny to see Aubrey in a swimsuit at two months old that Kinsley wore when she was 11 months old. It's not a perfect fit, but it's almost.

Kinsley is definitely becoming a two-year-old. I love that she's actually singing songs to herself and at times to Aubrey. It's quite funny to listen to her. You can maybe understand two or three words out of the whole song. Even though Aubrey is yawning in this picture, she seems to enjoy the show no matter how Kinsley sounds.

She started smiling and cooing. It is so fun to have little conversations with her.

 Happy Fathers Day!
Or as Kinsley would say "Happy Birthday Daddy Day".

Aubrey Claire

She's here. Born April 17th at 3:22 am. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20 inches long. Everything went great. I was able to walk soon as the epidural wore off.

We were planning on having a scheduled C-section so I was anticipating to not have any labor pains. However my children seem to come whenever they want instead of when they're supposed to. I went into labor at 11:35 pm. I still had the C-section so that there was no further nerve damage to my leg.

I was discharged on Sunday the 21st and from the hospital we drove to Waco to our new home. Shane brought most of the stuff before hand. We did end up taking a few carloads on Sunday thanks to our family.

Here she is.

This is my grandmother's gown.

At 5 weeks, she was 9 lbs. 13 oz. and already in the clothes that Kinsley wore when she was 3 months old.

I thought that this sums up Kinsley quite nicely, an almost 2 year old in a new house with a new baby and a growing imagination. She makes me laugh everyday. She is very helpful with Aubrey and likes to show her off to the random people she sees at the store.

I will do my best to keep you updated at least once a month, maybe.

What can I say?!?!

Working and having a toddler makes life crazy! Add on top of that the fact that I am pregnant, Shane is taking 3 accounting classes to get his masters... and there is just no other way to say it. Life is CRAZY!

Well, last time I posted I told you that I was almost 16 weeks. Well I am now 27 weeks. We are having another girl!! Her name is Aubrey Claire. Shane said on the way back from the Dr. "Another girl. I am going to be out numbered." We are really excited about having another girl.

Kinsley is growing up so fast. Maybe not in size but we think she is smart. She is making two word sentences like, "Hi Daddy" and "No night night". This past weekend she said "Hey, LeighAnne run." Of course is was more like "Eh, ee-an un." But we knew what she meant. She is also working on running and jumping. Which I find to be the funniest thing I have every seen. But what parent doesn't think their child is smart and funny.

Speaking of funny... well maybe it's not funny but it sure is cute.
Here she is playing Ring Around the Rosie.
