11 Months

11 months... It feels weird to say she will be turning 1 in a month. Shane says it feels like it, however it is hard for me to believe.

Well, a lot has happened in a month she finally got those 4 top teeth... 

I know the pic. is bright but it was the best one I had of her teeth.

She took her first steps...

 We were in OK at a camp. Nathan had been teasing Shane for 2 days that he would get Kinsley to walk to him in OK and that she would be playing the drums. Well he got part of it right. She took 1 step to Nathan in OK but no drums. All you heard was Nathan laughing and Shane yelling "NO". She caught us all off guard so we didn't get a picture of her walking but we got the after shot. 

I love this pic because she looks like she's praying. Really she was clapping cause everyone was cheering.

She had her first 4th of July... 

However since we were at camp there weren't any fireworks. Shane and I agreed that it was k,m since she normally goes to bed around 8 anyway. 

 

When we got back home she fell asleep in her highchair at her morning snack. She did this on 3 different occasions.

Pretty soon my baby won't be a baby. :(

10 months

Well here we are at 10 months old. She is really getting around and fast. She is now crawling, really crawling. We have to keep an eye on her all the time because she gets into everything and eats anything she can crab.

We had a family reunion this past week in San Antonio. Her schedule was off but I think she enjoyed it. I know I did. We had several firsts at the reunion. Her first swimming pool experience and her first rodeo. I just love the boots.

   

9 Months

I can't believe she is already 9 months old. She still only has her bottom two teeth, but she is working on getting her top ones in. I think the top 4 all at a time, but I can only see 2 of them.

She is really getting around now. She doesn't crawl like you might think of crawling... but it works for her. She is also pulling up on the furniture and walks up and down the couch. 

I find her standing in bed all the time. It was really scary the first time I walked by her room because we had not moved the mattress down yet. The top of the bar was at her waist. Needless to say I lowered the mattress before I put her back in the crib for her nap that afternoon.

Now that she is older, she is really starting to enjoy her baths. She loves to play with the water as it falls out the faucet and of course she loves splashing.

I can't wait to see how she will do in a pool. I'm so excited about the summer!

Easter!

Well last weekend we went to Waco for our 1st Easter Egg Hunt. Of course she really didn't hunt the eggs, but we had fun pretending. 

 

She wasn't really sure what to do with the egg.

Earlier that day, we took pictures in the bluebonnets. Our timing was a little off... the sun was too bright. She wouldn't really look up at the camera. Oh well she's still so cute.

Here we are a week later and it is Easter. I just love little girl clothes!!!

My Little Inch Worm

I can't believe she is getting around on her own. She can't crawl just yet but she can pull herself across the room. Oh, she is also waving occasionally. It is exciting to see her meet all these milestones. :)

6 Months, Active, & Teething

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We are half to being 1 year. CRAZY!!

6 months

Kinsley is teething and you moms know what goes along with that. She has her two front bottom teeth. She is also starting the process to try and crawl! She can get up on her elbows and knees, but not for long. 

Mom and I went to TMEA, a music teacher conference. These are some pics mom took. 

5 Months!!

Christmas was so much fun. Even though she doesn't understand, it was cute to see her face when she saw a new colorful toy. We got most of the holiday on video (long video). I did get one picture of her Christmas morning playing with her new teething toy. Yes, I think she is starting to cut teeth even though I can't feel any. She drools like crazy. Along with the spit up, she is going to be one of those babies that always wears a bib. 

New Year's was fun too. We went to LeighAnne's house. Of course she slept though it, but she celebrated at dinner with us. 

Wow!! It really has been 5 months. She is getting so big, well for her. She is now rolling over, talking (if you can call it that) like you wouldn't believe, and eating cereal and a few veggies.
