3 months

Well... Aubrey is 3 months old. She is already half the size of Kinsley. She is going to be my big baby. She weighs 13 lb and 3 oz while Kinsley actually lost weight. Kinsley was at 23.5 lb but now weighs 23 lb. It is crazy how fast they both are growing.

3 months

She is holding her head so well. She also loves to stand.

This is a picture of Aubrey and her cousin Seth. (PJ & Katie's newest addition) He is about 3 weeks older than her. They are in town from North Carolina for the summer!!

We went to my family reunion (on my dad's side) over the holiday weekend. Aubrey was happy because she was always being held instead of laying on her mat or sitting in her bouncer. Kinsley enjoyed being in the water as long as it was waist deep. Notice the arm floaties and the floaty seat, double protection... all her idea. We were in the pool for about an hour and a half that day. The last 30 min. or so she would swim attached to my hip with the arm floaties. She's not quite comfortable with being in "deep" water. Maybe next summer...

After reunion it was pretty crazy at our house. Both girls got their first ear infections, Shane was on the verge of bronchitis, and our AC went out. We stayed at my in-laws for 5 days until it was fixed. Then, when we got home I started to get it. At least we are now home and all on meds!

I can't believe it, but Kinsley turns 2 in a few weeks! I'll put up more pictures then.

2 months

So here we are at 2 months. She weighs 11 lbs. 5 oz. and is 22 inches long. My favorite part about her turning 2 months is that she is now starting to sleep 6 to 9 hours at night!!!

We went to a splash park the other day with Leighanne and her boys. Kinsley had a lot of fun. We tried this outfit at the splash park. It is sized at 18 months, however she's so skinny that the shorts kept falling off of her. So we just took them off.

It's funny to see Aubrey in a swimsuit at two months old that Kinsley wore when she was 11 months old. It's not a perfect fit, but it's almost.

Kinsley is definitely becoming a two-year-old. I love that she's actually singing songs to herself and at times to Aubrey. It's quite funny to listen to her. You can maybe understand two or three words out of the whole song. Even though Aubrey is yawning in this picture, she seems to enjoy the show no matter how Kinsley sounds.

She started smiling and cooing. It is so fun to have little conversations with her.

 Happy Fathers Day!
Or as Kinsley would say "Happy Birthday Daddy Day".

Aubrey Claire

She's here. Born April 17th at 3:22 am. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20 inches long. Everything went great. I was able to walk soon as the epidural wore off.

We were planning on having a scheduled C-section so I was anticipating to not have any labor pains. However my children seem to come whenever they want instead of when they're supposed to. I went into labor at 11:35 pm. I still had the C-section so that there was no further nerve damage to my leg.

I was discharged on Sunday the 21st and from the hospital we drove to Waco to our new home. Shane brought most of the stuff before hand. We did end up taking a few carloads on Sunday thanks to our family.

Here she is.

1 week

2 weeks

3 weeks

4 weeks

This is my grandmother's gown.

At 5 weeks, she was 9 lbs. 13 oz. and already in the clothes that Kinsley wore when she was 3 months old.

I thought that this sums up Kinsley quite nicely, an almost 2 year old in a new house with a new baby and a growing imagination. She makes me laugh everyday. She is very helpful with Aubrey and likes to show her off to the random people she sees at the store.

I will do my best to keep you updated at least once a month, maybe.

What can I say?!?!

Working and having a toddler makes life crazy! Add on top of that the fact that I am pregnant, Shane is taking 3 accounting classes to get his masters... and there is just no other way to say it. Life is CRAZY!

Well, last time I posted I told you that I was almost 16 weeks. Well I am now 27 weeks. We are having another girl!! Her name is Aubrey Claire. Shane said on the way back from the Dr. "Another girl. I am going to be out numbered." We are really excited about having another girl.

Kinsley is growing up so fast. Maybe not in size but we think she is smart. She is making two word sentences like, "Hi Daddy" and "No night night". This past weekend she said "Hey, LeighAnne run." Of course is was more like "Eh, ee-an un." But we knew what she meant. She is also working on running and jumping. Which I find to be the funniest thing I have every seen. But what parent doesn't think their child is smart and funny.

Speaking of funny... well maybe it's not funny but it sure is cute.
Here she is playing Ring Around the Rosie.

OMG!!

I know... I know. Sorry it has been so long. Once school started I really haven't had a change to sit and post. So here is what has happened in the past 3 months.

Kinlsey has been a busy girl walking everywhere and climbing onto anything she can.

We go to Waco a lot. Dutton is currently at a church in Austin. So we drive to Waco for the weekend, she and I will stay at one of the grandparents house on Sunday while Shane goes to church in Austin. She and I do not make it an every weekend thing, but sometimes 2 a month.

She finally out grew her baby car seat, however even at 15 months she is still to skinny to face forward.

She went as a skunk for Halloween this year. Props to LeighAnne who made the costume for Lincoln around 4 years ago. We went to Woodway's Fall Festival. She did OK... Jackson was dressed at Iron Man and came running up to her with his mask on. She freaked out, crying and climbing up Shane's leg. She calmed down once he took his mask off. Then we saw someone dressed at an ape or monkey, anyway she stared at the mask and you could tell she wasn't really sure what to do. She just squeezed Shane's neck and didn't let go until she couldn't see it anymore. She is also not a fan of face paint. It too scares her when someone else has it on.

She has learned how to climb.

The couch is still a little high for her, but she figured out that she can use the blankets as a stool.

Oh, right. I'm pregnant again. On Monday I'll be 16 weeks. I'm due around the end of April. We will schedule a C-section so that I do not have any further nerve damage; which I am still dealing with. Luckily I am slowly getting better.

1 YEAR!!!

I can't believe it. I have a one year old. How crazy is that?? She is really getting around now. She'll take about 10 to 15 steps at a time. She is also a little chatter box and loves to yell.

12 months

Well... we spent her actual birthday with Shane in Kansas at a camp. So the band was able to celebrate with us. We had fun! We went to a coffee shop that had some great cupcakes.

If you noticed, she has a cut on her nose. Well... as we were getting ready to go she fell against a night stand face first. We had to make a quick run to the camp clinic. She was not a happy camper. (no pun intended) But as you can see she was fine by the time we got to the coffee shop.

We got home Kansas on Friday night the 3rd and had her party Saturday the 4th at our apartment's clubhouse. I don't recommend traveling the day before a party. She was fine but Shane and I were utterly exhausted.

After cake, we went swimming with all the kids. She was so excited and over stimulated that she didn't take your afternoon nap until 5pm when we left to go eat dinner for my dad's birthday, which was on the 4th. What a crazy day. Scratch that... what a crazy year!

11 Months

11 months... It feels weird to say she will be turning 1 in a month. Shane says it feels like it, however it is hard for me to believe.

11 months

Well, a lot has happened in a month she finally got those 4 top teeth...

I know the pic. is bright but it was the best one I had of her teeth.

She took her first steps...

We were in OK at a camp. Nathan had been teasing Shane for 2 days that he would get Kinsley to walk to him in OK and that she would be playing the drums. Well he got part of it right. She took 1 step to Nathan in OK but no drums. All you heard was Nathan laughing and Shane yelling "NO". She caught us all off guard so we didn't get a picture of her walking but we got the after shot.

I love this pic because she looks like she's praying. Really she was clapping cause everyone was cheering.

She had her first 4th of July...

However since we were at camp there weren't any fireworks. Shane and I agreed that it was k,m since she normally goes to bed around 8 anyway.

When we got back home she fell asleep in her highchair at her morning snack. She did this on 3 different occasions.

Pretty soon my baby won't be a baby. :(
